It reminds me of the story of Elijah and the 400 prophets of baal along with the 450 prophets of the groves.
Seeing 850 nuts jumping all over the place, cutting themselves with knives and lances, bleeding until 1/2 dead must have been a site.
Seeing this goat like looking statue that seems constipated as an object that satanic follower worships I think of the story of Elijah to the false prophets:
1 Kings 18:
[27] And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
[28] And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
When people turn there backs on God's love and mercy, and reject His salvation, they are opening themselves up to strong delusion and believing satan's lies.
II Thes. 2:
[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
But then again the 850 false prophets had the backing of the local government at the time, and were supported by that government. See any relationships today.
Craziness being promoted, that which is good being called evil.
Isa 5
[20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
[21] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
[22] Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
[23] Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
[24] Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
Funny to think that followers of satan think and are convinced they are going to win in the end.
They aren't to bright, and really can't think things through, they fight against the God that created the world, everything in it, and even the universe that contains it. Obviously they are deceived.
