The spirit of wisdom in the bible

In life, sometimes we meet very clever people. They are smart, quick-witted, and seem to know everything. Almost in any matter, they can voice their suggestions. But when looking at their way of life, the decisions they make, .. we have the impression that they are not very wise. So we must understand how to be wise properly.

Great observations, thank you for sharing this and good to see you posting! I've been 'out of pocket' awhile and back to catch up.

To me, walking in Wisdom is simple obedience, even before I clearly understand.  A knowledge of His Word is absolutely necessary to recognize His voice but, "His ways and His thoughts" are always going to be above what I comprehend.
This makes me think of Luke 16: 1-13. Such a puzzle that He would commend an unjust steward for his shrewdness! As with all of His Word, we must take time to meditate upon it, not just thinking we understand everything as it appears.
