Armed Texans are arriving at the border to help tackle the migrant crisis
Armed Texans are taking the law into their own hands and descending on the border to help authorities round up illegal aliens.
A new law in Texas is attracting armed groups with body armor, long guns, and high-tech drones to the border.
Law enforcement and local officials are welcoming them, however, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Under the new law, migrants who cross the border illegally will be arrested for trespassing.
The armed groups intend to find the illegals and deliver them to law enforcement officials for arrest.
The Kinney County sheriff has been working alongside the groups for months.
Gov. Greg Abbott has been taking matter into his own hands to tackle the border crisis
Former Border Patrol Agent Brad Coe has been on the lookout for help in deterring illegal immigration.
“The whole premise is if [migrants] know they’ll be arrested, they’ll go somewhere else,” Coe said.
