If non-preppers still have no interest after this past year they are expecting government to keep the stimulas checks coming.
I don't think we have seen anything yet as to supply chain breakdown combined with inflation.

I do see more local networking, especially with food supply like meat, eggs and veggies. These farm and ranchers will be loyal to existing customers.

I don't recommend stocking up on essentials when the shelves are bare but slowly when supply is abundant.
There are inexpensive and nutritious items one can live on and some store well. Water is very important and often overlooked.
