You instruct us to pray for all in authority, that we may live in peace. You've promised you will never leave us or forsake us. You've also stated that this life will include hardship and persecution when we follow you. We are here for such a brief time.

We see firsthand the effects of sin on the beautiful world you created. We yearn for the perfection we destroyed. Sadly the world, without Christ, is blinded to the pathway back. May we be salt and light today!

I know you have forgiven us. I understand no man will spend eternity separate from You, from every good and perfect thing, because of sin, but ONLY because of rejecting your Son Jesus.

I join believers all across this nation today in praying for a spiritual awakening. Today Lord, please remove the scales from our eyes. Reveal the wickedness in each of our hearts that we may repent, turning wholeheartedly to seek you in every thought and deed, trusting the precious blood of Jesus to cover and protect us from the enemy. We can all be hidden in Christ should we choose.

I pray especially for those in authority. Surround them with Godly council & Spirit filled witnesses. Open their eyes and their hearts to the knowledge of your love and the power of your grace to save them.

Strengthen and encourage the faithful and draw those struggling to continue in your Word back into your perfect will. Stir in us a hunger to know and serve you, to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

I thank you Father that you continue to have your way on this earth, that Jesus has overcome the world and we have victory. We will do all we know to do and continue to stand on your promises, in Jesus Name.

Father in Heaven I thank you for Your Word which tells us who You are and who we are created to be.
You promise that you hear our prayers and that there is power in agreement, power in bringing our needs to You and acknowledging Your Love, Mercy and Kindness toward us. I agree with 12345485 for her friend, that Your Mercy is sufficient, that Your Holy Spirit directs her steps, and the steps of those involved in her care. There are no circumstances too great for You. I pray for Your Peace to rest on this friend and their family. That everyone involved in their care be sensitive to the direction of Your Holy Spirit, quick to obey, and doing so with Wisdom, skill, and compassion. That there be no further complications but only clarity and precision with healing in Jesus Name
