The struggle for God's Word - Rick - 11-23-2021
I came across an interesting film about the bible and the struggle of the last 2000 years to get it out to the ordinary person and the fight against papal persecution towards the people of God. All the way to the end of the film it's showing how the anti-Christ is working to destroy the true word of God and replace it with counterfeit bibles.

I found one scripture about 'the man of sin' that is explained quite plainly I felt,

[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
As they explained in the film, "over the centuries it's been the papal office, the fallacies and lies of Rome that controlled and imprisoned the common people and their conscience, keeping them in ignorance WITHOUT the true word of God to guide, direct and expose the lies told the people, because they had only the catholic priesthood telling them what God said.
Once the true word of God, the "Spirit of His mouth" was was given to the people it consumed the lying power of the papal seat and the control it had over the people. The people reading the word of God for themselves and the lying power of the papacy was "destroyed with the brightness of his coming", the Word.
Jesus is the Word and the Light, He said, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
No wonder the devil and the papacy hate the true word if God and are seeking to dilute and pollute it, destroy it, and fool people into going after new age so-called versions of the bible.
The fight has not ended for God's word, and won't until the time Jesus splits the eastern skies and returns again triumphantly as the true king of this earth.
Any ways, I enjoyed the film, it's about 3 hours long.

What you have just written is in the spirit. I had a customer
telling me the same thing Sunday in the parking lot before she went
to church.
